Primary responsibilities include prevention of accidents, water rescues, pool maintenance, assuring proper pool chemical balances, general cleaning in and around pool area and bathhouse, oversees cashiers' daily deposits, assist in instructing in-service training, supervise employees, and handles customer complaints in the aquatic supervisor's absence. Head lifeguards will receive mandatory weekly in-service training. Work hours include mornings, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. |

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, be certified through the American Red Cross (must pass this training before date of employment) and have CPR certification for infants, children and adults. At least one year of experience as a lifeguard, preferably in a municipal setting. |
